American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career with supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and played a supporting role in the short-lived drama The Ex List. In the very first season, she was in the role of Moira O'Hara as a teenage Moira and in the following season, she was Kaylee. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead and Sophie on the NBC series This Is Us. She voices various characters on Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since her appearance in 2019, she's appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe who is a character from the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and her relocated to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a year before setting up in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she first began to pursue an interest in acting, photography and singing. When she turned 15, she relocated with her mother to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
